Carolyn Gaides



Carolyn Gaidis is a landscape architect and design leader with 30 years of experience in landscape architecture and arboriculture. She works on several project types from landscapes to streetscapes to master planning for private and public clients. She provides services including landscape architecture, ISA-certified arborist services, master planning, design guidelines, project management, and design from schematic to construction administration. High-profile projects she has designed are the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and more than nine projects in Forest Park in Missouri, including the Judith Jones Visitor Center, Post-Dispatch Lake and Boathouse, the Cascades Waterfall, and the Highlands Golf Course.

Gaidis serves as the treasurer for the St. Louis Chapter of ASLA. She has also been heavily involved in community service through serving on the architectural review board for the City of Clayton, 2018-2024, and the Forest Park advisory board from 1998-2004. Gaidis teaches landscape architecture at WashU as well as sustainable design studios and courses in the graduate curriculum.
