About the artist

Sanditz has exhibited widely, with recent solo shows at Huxley-Parlour Gallery, London, UK, (2021) and Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, New Orleans, LA, (2019). Previous solo shows include exhibits at, CRG Gallery, New York, NY, Acme Gallery, Los Angeles, CA and Rodolphe Janssen Gallery, Brussels, Belgium. Group shows include most recently, “From Morning Til Night, We Should Never Rely on a Single Thing,” Philip Martin Gallery, online, curated by Tomory Dodge, 2021. Her work has been included in group shows at interesting venues such as a project of Prospect New Orleans at Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, Freight and Volume Gallery, NYC, Thomas Cole Site, Catskill, NY, CES Gallery, LA, CA, Bushel Gallery, Delhi, NY, The Nerman Museum, Oakland Park, KS and The Girls Club, Ft. Lauderdale. Her work is in a number of private and public collections, including The Fogg Museum, The Saint Louis Art Museum, The Dallas Museum and The Herbert Johnson Museum, Ithaca, NY.

Her work was recently included in a new contemporary landscape painting anthology, Landscape Painting Now, Barry Shwabsky, edited by Todd Bradway, DAP, 2019. It has been reviewed in a number of publications including, The New York Times, Art Forum, New York Magazine, Hyperallergic and Bomb and others. She has a BA from Macalester College and an MFA from Pratt Institute. She is a 2008 Guggenheim recipient and a 2015 Anonymous was a Woman grant recipient. She is currently an Artist in Resident at Bard College.

She and fellow artist Emily Sartor, recently finished a collaborative artists’ map entitled, “Thrilling Tales and Startling Adventures - Unofficial Guide to Pollinators of the Hudson Valley, 2021.” It was produced parallel to the “Cross-Pollination,” show which will travel from the Thomas Cole Site and Olana to Crystal Bridges, AR, and other venues, curated by a few people, including the dazzling Kate Menconeri.
