Fuelwood in Dzong

A concrete canal feeds fields and a watermill in Dzong. Both fuel and fodder are in dramatically short supply in the village, especially for landless shepherds unable to grow their own. Along this canal, a series of tiered enclosures use surplus water to grow fuel and fodder.
