This year’s Fashion Design Show debuted Made to Model, an adaptive formalwear project for children.
Developed by WashU pre-med student Shelei Pan, the project brings together college design students and young people with disabilities to create clothes tailor-made for the children’s personalities and physical needs.
“It’s about gaining appreciation for what functional fashion can do,” says Pan. Read the full story and watch the video spotlight on the project in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
