New York Times features Irving's (MFA17) solo show at MoMA
The New York Times named Kahlil Robert Irving’s (MFA17) solo show at MoMA a critic’s pick. “With the exception of Simone Leigh, there isn’t another artist making more relevant and compelling clay-based work at the moment,” says critic John Vincler. Irving’s work has also been included in recent exhibitions at the Whitney Museum and at the New Museum’s 2021 Triennial.
St. Louis Magazine interviews Nicole Miller on Kemper Art Museum installation
In this story for St. Louis Magazine, artist Nicole Miller discusses her new immersive installation A Sound, a Signal, the Circus, currently on view at the Kemper Art Museum. “It contains all the components of art-making that I’m passionate about,” Miller says. “For me and my practice, it’s an opportunity to be in relationship with people that I admire, and that’s really what keeps me moving forward.”
