Spring 2022 Media Artists in Residence
2022-02-16 • Sam Fox School
The Sam Fox School presents the second edition of its new Media Artist Residency. Led by associate professor of art Monika Weiss, the residency is offered each semester, and allows one selected student artist or artist pair to spend 10 days in the School’s Media Studio creating a time-based project.
In February 2022 the Media Artist Residency features a 10-day collaboration between BFA in Studio Art seniors Betsy Ellison and Lena Cramer. The work produced during the residency will be on view on Wednesday, February 23, in the Media Studio, located on the lower level of Weil Hall.
Sound artist Alex Braden, a candidate in the MFA in Visual Art program, served as the inaugural Media Artist in Residence in November 2021.
