Haller essay featured on Places journal
Places journal has published a suite of essays by the 2021 cohort of its Summer Writing Fellows, who responded to the theme “Responsibilities.” In her essay “The Suburban Garage: Model for a Flexible Framework,” Emily Haller (MArch22) offers a thorough look at the typology of the American garage and what designers can learn from it.
Axi:Ome & COCA collaboration for wUNDERland production
COCA spotlights its collaboration with the firm Axi:Ome for the scenic design of its recent production wUNDERland. Axi:Ome’s design team was led by professor Sung Ho Kim and Heather Woofter, director of the College of Architecture and Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design. Woofter and Carmon Colangelo, the Ralph J. Nagel Dean, are both quoted in the story.
