Seven faculty members across four undergraduate schools at Washington University in St. Louis have been honored with 2021 Emerson Electric Co. “Excellence in Teaching” awards. They are:

Each year, honorees are chosen by the deans of their schools and by the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning. Awards recognize teachers across the St. Louis metropolitan area, from kindergarten through college level, for their example of educational excellence in their fields.
About Shreyas R Krishnan
Shreyas R Krishnan is an illustrator-designer from Chennai, India, with an eye for the everyday and an affinity for the drawn image. She makes non-fiction comics, zines, and documentary drawings exploring memory and identity. She is interested in the intersections between visual culture and gender, as well as personal stories and the idea of belonging. Through drawing and writing, she tries to understand how, why, and what we remember.
