Architecture firm AVV A, founded by faculty members Chandler Ahrens, Constance Vale, and Kelley Van Dyck Murphy, received a Special Mention in the Best Young Firm category of Architizer’s A+ Awards. Founded in 2024, the practice approaches design as a cultural project, harnessing creativity through dialogue with communities and clients. Their built work spans music venues, galleries, museums, restaurants, storefronts, installations, and residential spaces, often engaging in adaptive reuse to transform underutilized buildings into active civic and cultural spaces.
