Heyda featured at New Orleans Book Festival

Professor Patty Heyda was a speaker at the fifth annual New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University this month. She joined a lineup of acclaimed authors and storytellers including Stacey Abrams, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Ibram X. Kendi, Ken Burns, Salman Rushdie, and many others. Heyda’s book, “Rebuilding the Small Town” was featured and she participated in a panel discussion on collaborative design practices and the evolving role of architects and planners as civic partners.
