Sam Fox School seniors recognized by Society of Illustrators

Jovonka Johnson and Marissa Hart, both seniors majoring in communication design, had their work accepted into the Society of Illustrators’ student competition. Their work was selected from 4,500 entries and will go on to compete against 186 finalists. Johnon’s “RubeGoldberg,” came from coursework in Illustrators Sketchbook, while Hart’s “Bad Girls,” was part of Capstone in Illustration 1: Research Methods (Image and Story). Both courses were taught by Vidhya Nagarajan.
