Chloe Macaulay

When I was two, I was diagnosed with Classical Ehelers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective- tissue disorder that, most relevantly, causes hypermobile joints, fragile, easily ripped skin, and poor wound healing. I exist in a world of threats and have the scars to prove it. Consequently, my work explores my reality as I reconcile power and control dynamics through the manipulation and ruination of flesh and form.
