Grace Demba

Painting makes me feel like I have a superpower. When I discovered my passion for creating art, a world I never knew existed became a reality. It consists of eerie yet beautiful bodies that could be made out of clay, configured in awkward positions, and surrounded by whimsical colors, winding shapes, and surreal landscapes. Through creating this world, I’ve grown an interest in the power of art as a form of self-acceptance. Whenever I create an artwork, I feel closer to knowing who I truly am.
