Brenna Metts
Brenna earned a bachelor of science in applied mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas with minors in journalism and interdisciplinary studies. She is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree from WashU. In her undergraduate program, she researched math education culture and how it can be shifted to bridge the fields of art and math rather than make them feel disconnected. In architecture, Brenna is interested in researching architectural designs that encourage sustainability and environmentalism. She is particularly interested in the Singaporean green urbanism movement and hopes to travel there and other innovative green cities during her time at WashU. In addition to her studies, she is also a freelance photographer, currently working for the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.
Brenna is a Sam Fox Ambassador.
