Amanda Kesler



Amanda Kesler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural and Environmental Studies from William Smith College. Amanda is passionate about aiding communities in building community resiliency in response to climate change-related hazards, such as floods, fires, and excessive heat, while improving urban livability. She became interested in these topics while working for a multidisciplinary engineering, planning, and design firm, expanded by her studies at the Sam Fox School. The commitment of the Sam Fox school towards STEM designation allows her to engage in a diverse range of projects, grounded in rigorous research methods and innovative design approaches. Along with her studies, Amanda helps coach women’s soccer at WashU. She was named National Coaching Staff of the year after the team won a National Championship in 2024.
