Latausha Cox
Latausha Cox is a story listener, illustrator, and educator who sees art as a thread for memories, stories, and possibilities. She most recently served as the Assistant Educator for Teacher and Student Learning at the Saint Louis Art Museum. In this role she led student programs that include Arts in the Basic Curriculum (ABC), Exploring with the Artist, No Place for Hate, AMPLIFY, and more. Latausha has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and Master of Arts in Education with K-12 licensure and is continuing her graduate studies in pursuit of a doctoral degree in Art Philosophy. She became a Community Arts Training (CAT) Fellow in June 2023 through the Regional Arts Commission of Saint Louis to better understand the scope of her community and how art can support its needs. She is also a mom of three and an active visual artist in the Saint Louis community and beyond (when her kids allow 🙃).
