Aggie Toppins
Aggie Toppins is an associate professor and chair of undergraduate design. She combines studio practice and critical writing to explore the social life of graphics. Toppins’ writing has been published by Design and Culture, Design Issues, Diseña, Slanted, Eye, and AIGA Eye on Design. She contributed essays to Feminist Designer, edited by Ali Place, and Baseline Shift: Untold Stories of Women in Graphic Design History, edited by Briar Levit. Toppins’ first book, Thinking Through Graphic Design History: Challenging the Canon will be published by Bloomsbury in 2025.
