Aaron Schump



Aaron Schump is an architect and educator based in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and his Master in Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, where he received an Honor Award for Excellence in Design upon graduation. He has practiced in Los Angeles with Marmol Radziner + Associates and with SPaN, Stonely Pelsinski, and Neukomm architects in New York City.  

From 2012-2018, Schump operated his office, AS//A, in Manhattan, Kansas, while serving as an associate professor at Kansas State University. Since 2018, he has operated as MOD architecture + design in St. Louis. The office and his academic endeavors focus on topics of tectonic craft, space, time, and memory.  

Schump is a registered architect in the States of Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is NCARB certified.
