smoke, signals, space: 2021 MFA in Visual Art Thesis Exhibition
This exhibition features thesis projects by the MFA in Visual Art students in the 2021 graduating class of the Sam Fox School’s Graduate School of Art. Students present artworks in various media, exploring themes such as the politics of race, the role of gender, the poetics of the everyday, and utopian/dystopian futures.
The 2021 MFA in Visual Art candidates are Jessica Bremehr, Amanda Casarez, Ryan Erickson, Adrian Gonzalez, Maddie Grotewiel, Younser (Seri) Lee, Gaoyuan Pan, Takura Suzuki, and Alexa Velez.
