The Queer Experience Museum Tour and Conversation
Join José Garza, museum academic programs coordinator, for an interactive tour of selected artworks from the permanent collection that are currently on view. The tour will highlight artworks that center LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences and the role of visual art in advancing social change. The interactive tour will encourage participants to share observations and interpretations.
This program is offered in partnership with WashU’s Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, inspired by their current art exhibition, The Queer Experience: Joy as Resistance. Learn more about this organization and the exhibition here.
Free and open to all WashU students; registration is encouraged.
