Join student educator Yue Dai, PhD student in the Department of Art History & Archaeology in Arts & Sciences, for a tour of the Arthur Greenberg Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Exhibition, “Killing the Buddha”: Reconstructing Zen. The exhibition investigates the dynamic shifts in Zen and Zen-adjacent art from seventeenth-century Japan to the post-World War II period. A discussion of works in the permanent collection galleries by Japanese and Japanese American artists will follow the temporary exhibition tour.
Free and open to the public.
