Jazz Festival: Returns, Revisions, Inventions
Enjoy an evening of contemporary jazz, pop, and new music inspired by the bold, sweeping artworks on view in Katharina Grosse Studio Paintings, 1988–2022: Returns, Revisions, Inventions. Presented in collaboration with Autumn Hill Records and the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences and curated by William Lenihan, Director of Jazz Performance in the Department of Music, the festival features compositions by the Dave Weckl, William Lenihan, Jay Oliver, Tom Kennedy Quartet; Bach to the Future; and Out of the Midst. Performances will take place inside the galleries and outdoors.
Free and open to the public. Enjoy chicken sandwiches (meat and veggie) by Chicken Out at the Museum’s Coffee Bar. Beer and wine available for purchase.
