Special G-CADD Tour & Exhibition Openings
All members of the Sam Fox School community are invited to attend a special tour of the Granite City Art & Design District (G-CADD) led by lecturer Sage Dawson, in conjunction with the opening of Exhibition #28.
Featured programs at G-CADD include:
@ IN/OUT: Granite City Pop-Up and Blow-Out (You don’t have to take it home, but it can’t stay here!) Organized by lecturer Sage Dawson and students Printmaking Installations, Multiples, and Site Specificity course. Printed wares that explore the history of Granite City in a pop-up exhibition and shop by Andrew Bass, Grace Bristow, Wolf Chen, Shaelee Comettant, Sophie Devincenti, Sophie Dinitz, Alex Evets, Ava Feinstein, Lucinda Gillespie, Kay Ingulli, Logan Krohn, Lily Leonard, Shannon Levin, Claire McLoughlin, Bo Schmit, Breanne Trammell, and Josie Zimmerman.
Projected City, an exhibition of projection-mapped-based artworks that respond to the social and architectural history in and around the Granite City Art and Design District. The works were produced in professor Tim Portlock’s course by the following students: Kade Becker, Mary Kate Charles, Zach Cohn, Shaelee Comettant, Lena Cramer, Bonnie Dana, Andrew Guevara, Avery Johnson, Maddy Kish, and David Luo.
Beasts, an interactive, layered environment that examines the many different yet related perceptions of beasts, otherness, and strangeness, created by senior lecturer Lindsey Stouffer and Joanna Mendoza.
Nature/Nurture, a collaboration between Natalie Baldeón (MFA12) and Sarah Paulsen (MFA07) that speaks to the importance of having a sounding board and support systems while navigating the complexities of caretaking.

Noble Gas & Glass, a pop-up trailer (courtesy of Nina Ganci and Deborah Katon) that features a sampling of neon works from Tom Carr/Doc Atomic, Cameron Fuller (MFA07), Nina Ganci, Laurel Goen, Ann Johnson, Deborah Katon, Greg Kramer, Chris Star, and Corey Weiser.
