Israel Institute Visiting Artist Lecture: Maya Muchawsky Parnas
Maya Muchawsky Parnas, the Israel Institute Visiting Artist and the spring 2022 Wallace Herndon Smith Distinguished Visiting Lecturer in the Sam Fox School, will deliver a public lecture.
Maya Muchawsky Parnas (b. 1972) is an Israeli visual artist working predominantly with ceramics. She earned her BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, and her MA in Ceramics and Glass from the Royal College of Art in London, UK. Maya lives and works in Jerusalem, the city where she grew up. She is a senior lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and her works have been exhibited in galleries and museums in Israel, Europe and in the United States.
