Fox Friday: Flippin' Fun Flag Books
Learn to make a flippable flag book using found papers and your own drawings or illustrations. Explore collage to create pages featuring pattern and color - then just motion to activate your ideas! Students will create a hand-held accordion book with lots of flippable flag pages inside.
Instructor: With a background in textile design, Marie Oberkirsch is always looking to include pattern and tactile materials in her work. Marie teaches Letterpress and Book Arts at WashU and is the Director of Central Print in North St. Louis.
about fox fridays
