Fox Friday: Idea Bounce X Fox Friday Collaboration
Design isn’t adjacent to entrepreneurial work. It’s central to it. The Skandalaris Center will be hosting an Ideabounce x Fox Friday on January 30th, workshopping entrepreneurial and business ideas with students across WashU. The goal of the session will be evolving our understanding of how to creatively pitch and prototype within the fast-paced world of start-up businesses. Tentative Agenda: 1:00 - 1:15: Welcome! What is The Skandalaris Center? What role does creativity have in business? 1:15 - 2:00: Let’s make something! Come up with a 30 second pitch for a business you think would succeed. Add it to Ideabounce.com and pitch it to your peers. Vote on best pitches. 2:00 - 2:50: Top ten vote-getters absorb students onto their teams and continue to evolve their startup prototype. What might the offering look like? Is it a website? A physical product? 3:00 - 3:30 Present the top ten to the judges and award three teams cash prizes. 3:30 - 3:50: Cookies and Lemonade at the Center.
