Introduction to TouchDesigner
Students will learn how to write, draw, and assemble their own mini-comics using simple, accessible materials (copy paper, pens, copier). We’ll cover the basics of visual storytelling, page layout, and comic pacing, then fold a single sheet of paper into an 8-page foldable format. (Optional: Students will also design a one-page poster to go on the reverse side.) We’ll explore a simple duplication process using an inkjet printer to simulate risograph aesthetics. Everyone will leave with at least one finished mini-comic.
Instructor: Liam Cassidy is a cartoonist, writer, and lecturer at Sam Fox.
